Accounting Matters and Hammond & Co Smash Virtual Walk Target for Cancer Research!
We are delighted to announce that Accounting Matters and Hammond & Co have successfully completed their virtual walk from Land's End to John O'Groats in support of cancer research! This ambitious journey covered the length of the UK, from the southern tip in Cornwall to the northernmost point in Scotland.
Exceeding Expectations Our initial goal was to walk 1189 miles, the approximate distance from Land's End to John O'Groats. However, thanks to the incredible dedication and effort of all participants, we exceeded this target, walking an astonishing 1353.05 miles throughout May 2024. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the commitment and teamwork of everyone involved.
Fundraising Success We are also proud to share that our virtual walk raised a total of £475.00 for cancer research. Every penny raised will go towards vital research and support services, helping to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
